Inspired by Alberto Collovati's design
A Chair
The Wood Joinery workshop previously done worked as a warm up to this task, in which we learnt how to work with wood without the need of screws. Being an introduction to Product Design, we decided to base ours in Alberto Collovati‘s design on a 1:2 scale model. After researching and translating the information into technical drawings, the final product came to life. Its sleekness, elegancy and smoothness, resulted thanks to not only the careful selection of wood pieces, but also due to the assembly process itself, which involved cutting, gluing, sanding and varnishing.
